Drilling Operations and Maintenance ➢ Tightens/loosens drill pipe sand makes/break tubular connections. ➢ Tails, stabs, rack backs, and handles drill string, casing, and tubing. ➢ Makes up/ breaks outstand sand rack pipe in the derrick. ➢ Performs rig-ups and use rig floor equipment. ➢ Lines up and bleeds down pressure from lines, valves, and equipment. ➢ Performs routine maintenance on the rig floor, including greasing of Fittings and other lubrication points and replacement of tubular box and pin ➢ connections, dies, nuts, bolts, etc. ➢ Repairs hand and power tools. ➢ Maintains wire ropes and cables. ➢ Bundle, move, rack and maintain tubular goods. ➢ Installs stop collars and centralizers on casing. ➢ Performs house keeping on the Rig floor conducts inspections as requested. ➢ Performs other duties as assigned by management.
