• Operate and monitor plant including gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, generators, BOP using the DCS SPPA T-3000 system, ensuring compliance with SOPs for start-up, shutdown, and changeover. • Execute normal, hot, warm, and cold starts of GT, HRSG, and ST • Follow approved operating procedures and startup curves • Perform load increase/decrease as per dispatch instructions • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies and identify there root causes, takes immediate actions to save equipment and to meets generation targets • Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate with maintenance teams, and participate in Permit to Work (PTW) processes and safety drills. • Maintain continuous close radio coordination with field operators for critical operation, startups/shutdown punch list clearance. • Collaborate with team members, participate in meetings, ensure smooth shift handovers/takeover. • Utilize SPPA T- 3000 for shift logs, alarm/faults notification, trends analyzing, reports generation. • Monitor grid parameters and comply with grid code and coordinate with grid operator to Control • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance, and optimum performance of the Gas turbines, Steam Turbines & HRSG. • Ensure all plant emergency and protections equipment integrity and act as an incident controller to take appropriate measures to control onsite and offsite emergencies. • Authorized PTW system and LOTO and make sure their proper implementation and monitor work progress.
