Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rig mechanical equipment to ensure smooth operations. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, compressors, engines, generators, and rotating equipment. Carry out maintenance on top drive systems, mud pumps, drawworks, and other rig machinery. Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Assist in installation, dismantling, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and machinery. Monitor equipment performance and ensure all systems operate within safe limits. Maintain and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in drilling operations. Conduct regular inspection and lubrication of moving parts and mechanical components. Follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and ensure safe work practices on the rig. Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and daily work reports. Coordinate with drilling crew, electricians, and rig engineers during maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
