Assisted in assembling and handling BOP (Blowout Preventer) equipment. Operated, cleaned, serviced, and lubricated portable power-driven tools and equipment. Performed simple disassembly and assembly work, including cleaning and reconditioning parts, lubrication, bolting, unbolting, and wire brushing. Opened and closed inspection doors for maintenance and inspection activities. Troubleshot equipment problems and documented issues using appropriate computer tracking systems. Maintained tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Controlled drilling mud, brine, associated chemicals, and weighting agents. Carried out mixing of mud, drilling fluids, and chemicals as instructed by the Mud Engineer.
