Assist the driller and assistant driller in daily drilling operations on the rig floor. Handle drill pipes, casing, and other tubulars during drilling and tripping operations. Operate and maintain rig floor equipment such as tongs, slips, and spinning chains. Ensure proper connection and disconnection of drill pipe and drilling tools. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the rig floor area. Assist in running casing, tubing, and other well equipment. Monitor drilling equipment and report any faults or damage to the supervisor. Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures. Participate in safety meetings, drills, and toolbox talks. Assist in loading, unloading, and moving drilling materials and equipment. Support well control procedures and emergency response when required. Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of rig floor equipment.
