•    Supervising and ensuring the QHSE policy/procedures during the drilling or  Workover Project as well as Rig maintenance activities.  

•     Collaborating with client drilling/WO representative and coordinating with the  Rig crew to accomplish optimum desired drilling/Workover operations. 

•     Managing daily the rig activities to include but not limited to drilling/workover  Operations, Maintenance activities, HSE concerns, supply chain support,  scheduling of maintenance, and personnel issues. 

•    Participating in the morning call with the client daily to discuss the issues  (HSE, operations, equipment, logistics) that happened during the last 24 hours  & the action plan needed to be implemented.  

•     Ensuring the quality control of all inspections & recertification to confirm that were done correctly before receiving the equipment at the Rig site or before the OEM technician left the Rig site.  

•    Supporting and assisting the HSE supervisor in implementing the HSE procedure /instruction to reinforce the HSE survey/supervision onsite 

•    Approving and Monitoring the Rig move plan 

•    Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses to improve safety practices. 

•    Ensuring the implementation of the Management Of the Change procedure  

•    Assisting the Rig audit & preparing the corrective action plan to ensure the closeout  of the findings 

•    Reviewing the technical procedures related to drilling/workover operations. 

•     Participating in the meeting related to the up-grading & recertification of the  rotating & hoisting equipment as well as the pumping, power & hydraulic system  

•     Reviewing the technical details of the equipment and materials to be purchased or rented according to international standards.  •    Maintaining the records and certifications of all Well Control equipment. 

•    Maintaining the record and certifications of all rotating equipment & hoisting equipment 

•    Ensuring that preventive maintenance procedures are implemented. 

•    Assisting in keeping the planned Maintenance Strategies current and up-to-date 

•    Following up on the Rig equipment periodically inspection & monitoring the inspection  of each equipment referring to the scope of work & the international standards API &  OEM recommendations 

•    Ensuring that CMMS is incorporated into projects and other tasks where information
