As Wellsite Geologist my supervisory duties comprises of  Monitoring & quality control of Mud Logging, Wireline Logging, Directional Drilling, VSP, Coring & Perforation operations on wellsite.  Formation evaluation by interpretation of geological samples, gas data and drilling parameters and LWD/WL logging data.  Hydrocarbon shows evaluation & deciding the top of new formations.  Correlation with offset wells & geo hazards indication before drilling that zone.  Deciding casing/coring points & section/final TD of well.  Drilling risk assessments before drilling each hole section and communicated same to Company man.  Safely & standard execution of Wireline Logging and Coring operations.  Quick look interpretation of Wireline Logging data.  Conventional Core and Side Wall Core handling & description.  Supervising Perforation operations.  Study of basin and regional tectonics for better geological interpretation.  Online communication with Field Base Camp & Head office.  Preparing Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Final Well Geological reports.  Giving suggestions to company man according to geological formation for well control and safe drilling.  Implementation of H.S.E policies & measurements. Job Responsibilities During Directional/Horizontal Wells  Confirmation of Kickoff, Entry & Landing points.  Tracking well trajectory as per plan.  Continuous monitoring and quick look interpretation of LWD data  Geo Steering according to changes in formation.  Frequet correlation of TVD logs with offsets  Early indication of formation hazards.
