A Well Testing Senior Operator supervises and executes safe surface well testing operations, including rigging up/down, pressure testing, and operating separators and flowheads. Key responsibilities include collecting accurate data (pressures, flow rates, fluid samples), troubleshooting equipment, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Operational Leadership & Safety: Leads crew in rigging up/down testing equipment (separators, data headers, burners, tanks). Conducts pre-job safety meetings, enforces HSE policies, and manages pressure/flow control safely. Data Collection & Monitoring: Monitors and records well parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rates) during testing, providing accurate data to engineers for production viability reports. Equipment Maintenance & Operation: Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots specialized testing equipment, including separators, wing valves, and data acquisition systems. Replaces faulty pressure gauges and ensures proper functioning of H2S monitoring. Well Testing Execution: Performs well cleanup and flow tests (production, DST - Drill Stem Test). Manages fluid sampling, analyzes data, and handles well unloading and freezing situations. Documentation & Reporting: Maintains daily logs, prepares detailed well test reports, and documents any equipment or operational issues. Coordination: Communicates with client representatives, rig personnel, and facility control room operators to ensure efficient operations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience in surface well testing. Strong knowledge of wellhead, pressure control, and separator operations. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to work in remote locations and in adverse weather
