Monitor and analyze drilling and mud data using mud logging equipment to ensure accurate real-time evaluation of well conditions. Prepare detailed daily geological reports, weekly summaries, and final well reports to document drilling progress and findings. Perform lithological analysis of drill cuttings, samples, and core chips under a microscope, including visual estimation of porosity and rock characteristics. Conduct fluoroscopic examination of samples using appropriate solvents to detect the presence of hydrocarbons. Ensure all equipment and sensors are properly maintained, serviced, and calibrated to guarantee reliable data acquisition. Demonstrate strong familiarity with computer system hardware and effectively operate specialized software used in data monitoring and reporting. Maintain a solid understanding of the function and operation of all logging systems equipment on site, and actively participate in rig-up, rig-down, and routine maintenance and calibration programs as required.
