As amudlogger my role is to analyze geological samples and monitor real-time drilling data to ensure both the safety of the rig and the accurate identification of hydrocarbon reservoirs.Alert the Driller and Wellsite Geologist immediately of any significant changes or hazards.Calibrate and maintain sensors and gas detection equipment.Track hydrocarbon levels (gas peaks) to detect potential oil or gas zones. ​Safety Watch: Monitor drilling data (pressure, ROP, pit levels) to provide early warning of well kicks or blowouts. ​Data Logging: Create a continuous Mud Log (record) of geological and drilling parameters versus depth.Reporting: Providing the "Morning Report" and constant updates to the Wellsite Geologist and Drilling Supervisor. ​Lag Time Calculation: Calculating the time it takes for cuttings to travel from the bit to the surface to ensure samples match the correct depth
