As a Well Testing Supervisor, I am responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of well testing operations, with full accountability for the accuracy and integrity of data acquired through the Surface Monitoring System (SMS) and sand monitoring devices. I lead the planning and on-site execution of rig-up, testing, and rig-down activities, ensuring all surface equipment and instrumentation are properly installed, pressure tested, and operated in line with approved procedures and client requirements. I ensure correct installation, calibration, and functional verification of SMS instrumentation, including pressure and temperature transmitters, flowmeters, and data acquisition systems. In addition, I oversee the installation and operation of sand monitoring devices (acoustic or erosion-based systems) to detect and quantify sand production during well flow. I continuously monitor real-time data trends from both SMS and sand monitoring systems to ensure measurement accuracy, detect abnormalities, and take immediate corrective actions to protect surface equipment and maintain well integrity. I am responsible for troubleshooting instrumentation, signal communication, and system integration issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted data acquisition. I validate SMS data by cross-checking with manual readings and field observations, ensuring high data quality for reservoir evaluation activities such as well cleanup, flow testing, pressure build-up, and PVT sampling. I enforce strict adherence to HSE requirements through effective implementation of PTW, TBT, and HARC, ensuring safe operations at all times. I maintain clear communication with client representatives and internal teams, ensuring accurate reporting, proper shift handovers, and timely submission of daily and final well test reports. Additionally, I mentor and supervise field personnel on SMS and sand monitoring operations, emphasizing data quality, equipment care, and operational discipline to drive continuous improvement in safety and performance.
