Mainly as a driller,undergo drilling operations with optimal constraints/conditions while also maintaining the needs and requirements for the next operation.Guiding the collegues and also taking notes of experienced seniors to maintain good collaboration so maximum time is utilised in any operation.Timely checklist of basic equipments and tools to be followed and keeping in co-ordination with the safety supervisor to ensure all basic protocols of safety is followed and employed.Operation of Mud Pumps is to co-ordinated with Driller, Assistant Driller, Derrick man , Electrical so as proper and smooth functioning is maintained.Operation on Mud tank to be co-ordinated between Chemist and Driller as discrepancies follows in the well column due to mud mixing or transfers in the tank sections.Proper trip tank measures used while drilling so as to keep an active tracking of the well.Proper hole Fillup at regular intervals during Tripping In or Out.Keep updated with the cuttings on shale shakers as to get on an idea on the formation drilled.At stating of shift note Pipes or tubulars in catwalk/runner, pressures on the BOP control unit.At console or driller cabin take notes of the drilling,mud parameters at beging of shift also take note of SCR at fixed intervals of depts in a certain range. Also some of my other experience that the company can utilise are my Fire Fighting knowledge and Basic First aid knowledge.
