Overall Rig Supervision Manage all drilling operations on the rig and ensure work is executed safely and efficiently. Crew Management Supervise drillers, assistant drillers, and rig crew; assign duties and monitor performance. Safety Compliance Enforce HSE policies, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Well Control Oversight Ensure proper use and maintenance of BOP systems and adherence to well control procedures. Operational Planning Coordinate daily drilling activities with the drilling superintendent and company man. Equipment Management Ensure all rig equipment is maintained, inspected, and functioning properly. Cost Control Monitor fuel, materials, and operational costs to stay within budget. Reporting Prepare daily drilling reports, incident reports, and operational updates. Logistics Coordination Manage supply of materials, tools, and personnel to avoid downtime. Problem Solving Handle operational issues, stuck pipe, losses, or equipment failure efficiently.
