As Mud Logger in Oman Petroleum Fields and assigned to: - • Real-time monitoring, recording, and interpreting drilling parameters through online software to give feedback to the data engineer, drilling team, well-site geologist, and company man for a safe working environment on the rig. • Sample collection, packing, full description, and interpretation depending on virtual detection, the microscope, and various chemical methods. • Well correlation between depending on offset wells to determine all formation tops and stratigraphic markers. • Evaluation of hydrocarbon and oil shows while drilling through samples and the gas system of mud logging unit. • Mud log creation and prepare daily written reports for the well-site geologist and company man. • Prepare trip sheets to control well filling and mud return to detect loss & gain during all jobs such as RIH, POOH, casing, cement, and wireline logging. • Make instruments set up, rig up, and rig down various sensors to connect them with the mud logging unit. • Calibrate and maintain mud logging equipment & sensors, and provide technical support in case of sensor troubleshooting or any equipment failure according to technical support instructions. • Prepare needed work permits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses that are compatible with HSE instructions, manuals, and policies before implementing any job tasks at the rig site to maintain a safe working environment. As a Data Engineer in Oman Petroleum Fields and assigned to: - • Installation and maintenance of software and hardware for acquiring and measuring drilling parameters. • Real-time monitoring, and ensure accurate WITS data flow to all necessary channels onsite. • Perform data QC, data analysis, and drilling performance evaluation using excel spreadsheets. • Attend daily meeting, and support rig site team with data and daily reports for well-site geologist and company man. • Provide maintenance and technical support in case of sensors troubleshooting equipment failure according to technical support instructions. • Perpare needed HSE documents to maintain a safe working environment.
