Conduct site investigations including soil sampling, borehole logging, and field testing to assess subsurface conditions. Perform laboratory tests such as grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction, and shear strength tests to determine soil properties and behavior under different conditions. Assist in analyzing geotechnical data and interpreting results to evaluate bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability. Collaborate with senior engineers to recommend suitable foundation systems such as shallow or deep foundations based on site conditions. Prepare detailed geotechnical reports including field observations, laboratory results, and engineering recommendations. Ensure compliance with safety standards during fieldwork and coordinate effectively with drilling teams and site engineers. Monitor excavation and construction activities to verify that soil conditions match design assumptions and provide technical support when unexpected ground conditions arise. Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, PLAXIS, or Excel for data analysis, modeling, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of site activities and testing results. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in both field and office environments.
