Roles and Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst in drilling and well logging operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and real-time monitoring of drilling data to support safe and efficient well operations. Analyze key parameters including ROP, WOB, torque, flow rate, and gas readings to identify trends, detect anomalies, and assist in decision-making. Provide continuous support to drilling and geological teams by delivering accurate data interpretation and maintaining high service quality standards. Prepare Daily Drilling Reports and End of Well Reports in line with client requirements, ensuring all operational data is properly recorded and validated. Maintain and operate real-time data acquisition and visualization systems such as INSITE and IRIS. Support primary and secondary well control by monitoring indicators for early kick detection and abnormal pressure trends. Coordinate closely with rig personnel, mud loggers, and engineers to optimize drilling performance and minimize non-productive time. Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, operational procedures, and client standards. Contribute to troubleshooting data issues and improving reporting efficiency while maintaining clear communication across multidisciplinary teams in both onshore and offshore environments.
