Roles and Responsibilities
• Monitored real-time drilling, mud, and gas data across multiple wells to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency. • Analyzed rock cuttings and mud samples to determine lithology and hydrocarbon indicators. • Performed mineralogical and chemical analysis of rock samples using XRD and XRF techniques. • Identified and troubleshot data issues from Hawk and other data acquisition systems. • Managed and monitored drilling fluid levels, reporting anomalies in drilling parameters to relevant stakeholders. • Prepared daily, weekly, and monthly drilling performance reports with quality control checks. • Tracked and reported key drilling parameters including ROP, SPP, SPM, RPM, WOH, WOB, and H₂S levels. • Compiled detailed well reports, including mud and gas logs, bit records, casing tally, and test data. • Conducted rig-up and rig-down operations for mud logging units, including tool diagnostics, equipment preparation, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting. • Continuously monitored wellbore gases and lithology; prepared geological reports including shale factor, shale density, and limestone calcimetry for wellsite geologists.
