Perform routine maintenance and repair of rig equipment such as engines, mud pumps, top drive systems, drawworks, and rotary systems. Inspect mechanical components regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns. Repair or replace defective parts including bearings, seals, valves, and hydraulic components. Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule. Ensure all equipment is operating within manufacturer specifications. Maintain proper lubrication of all mechanical systems. Assist in rig-up and rig-down operations. Follow safety procedures and comply with company and industry standards. Keep accurate maintenance records and reports. Coordinate with drilling crew, electricians, and engineers during operations. Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly maintained and stored.
