Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive primary and emergency medical care to offshore personnel in accordance with ADNOC HSE Management System and UAE occupational health regulations. * Conduct medical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up for work‑related and non‑work‑related illnesses and injuries. * Manage medical emergencies, trauma cases, and life‑support situations, including CPR, ACLS, and trauma stabilization, until MEDEVAC is completed. * Coordinate closely with offshore ADNOC medical services, telemedicine physicians, and emergency response teams during critical cases. * Maintain full operational readiness of the offshore medical clinic in compliance with ADNOC, and offshore medical standards. * Ensure proper management, storage, and control of medical supplies, medications, and emergency equipment, including narcotics and controlled drugs. * Maintain accurate, confidential, and ADNOC‑compliant medical records, reports, and incident documentation. * Participate actively in Emergency Response Plans (ERP), including fire, helicopter ditching, man overboard, and abandonment drills. * Conduct routine health surveillance, fitness‑for‑duty assessments, and occupational health monitoring for offshore personnel. * Support HSE initiatives, incident investigations, and reporting of occupational injuries and illnesses. * Provide health promotion, hygiene awareness, fatigue management, and communicable disease control programs onboard. * Monitor environmental and occupational health risks related to offshore operations including heat stress, chemical exposure, and ergonomic hazards. * Ensure compliance with ADNOC contractor requirements, audits, inspections, and medical readiness assessments.
