Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in heavy-duty diesel engines (Caterpillar, Cummins), mud pumps, drawworks, and air compressors. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Inspect, maintain, and overhaul complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and high-pressure pumps. Rig Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and service top drives, rotary tables, and shale shakers to ensure they meet manufacturer and company standards. Inventory & Spare Parts: Manage the inventory of mechanical spare parts and specialized tools, ensuring all critical items are available for emergency repairs. HSE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to company and client (e.g., PDO/OXY) HSE policies, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Technical Reporting: Maintain accurate daily maintenance logs and prepare detailed reports for the Rig Manager regarding equipment status and repairs. Rig Move Support: Play a key role in rig-up and rig-down operations, ensuring all mechanical components are safely disassembled, transported, and reinstalled.
