Job Profile
Responsible for all mechanical systems and related equipment are maintained, serviced and tested, and installed in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations, the mechanical standards and good industry practice.

?Preventive Maintenance, Overhauling & trouble shooting of Top Drive, Draw works, Generator Engines, Mud Pump, Crane, Air Winches, BOP Control System, BOP, BOP handling winch, Cement Unit, Water Makers, Jacking Gear Box, Air Compressors, All Drilling tools, HPU, Pipe Spinners, Mud Agitator, Sea west treatment plant, Oily water separator, All types centrifugal pumps, All type of Valves, Crane etc. 
?Assist in Rig & camp moving.
?Assisting other company’s rigs during their shutdowns or resolving other major maintenance/troubleshooting related problems.
?Performed diagnostics to identify and quickly resolve equipment issues threatening to hold up or shut down drilling operations. Sustained less than half the amount of allotted down time throughout tenure.
?Worked on Lathe machine, grinding machine, Thread cutting machine, CNC machine.
?Perfectly doing the all type of alignments.
?Working on the hydraulic system.
?Working with the company’s safety policy. 
?Familiar with all mechanical equipment, especially drilling related maintenance/repair program.
?familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?Assist to chief mechanic keeps Rig Equipment in operational.
?Assist chief mechanic to fill report on Computer.
?Replaced coupling of Elmagco brake and reconditioned drillers brake
?Replaced National crane booms, Took off crane motors, pumps, gear box and reinstalled after inspection and maintenance
?Responsible for safety of the man, machine and material on offshore drilling rig.
?Took off Anchor winches, gearbox, and reinstalled after inspection and maintenance, replaced brake-pans ,renewed the operating pipe line, replaced DC motor gear coupling and brake drum
?Assist chief mechanic in QHSE Meeting, tool box Meeting, STOP Program, PTW system.
?Assist Preventive & Planned maintenance program on all Rig Equipment.
?Carried out the PM, as per the company policy.

Offshore Petroleum Department
Designation – Sr. Engine Mechanic:
?Hands on Experience in Engine Top Overhauling, Major Overhauling of all type 5316,3512,3406,3412,3306,d399,d379,d378 etc.
?Working in the petroleum department on the offshore field.
?Experience in engine Integration, cooling system, exhaust and air intake system with knowledge of Exhaust Emission.
?Conversant with Engineering drawings, interpret the operation and functions of DG Sets, Engine and alternator Operator manual/parts catalogue.
?Timely completion of Service jobs as per the commitments at site and support the team leader.
?To execute jobs as directed by Head-Services.
?Collection and compilation of technical and measurement data at sites and support team leader.
?Assess Parts Requirements and Stock Level of Maintenance
?Attending client meetings, and Giving customer onsite training about Diesel generators
?Guiding and Attending Technical problem in Mechanical and Electrical sides of DG Sets. 
?Carrying out any additional work at site beyond the agreed scope of work and get the endorsement of extra work from customer.
?Arranging to support the Static weight of units and dynamic load due to engine running. 
?Ensuring all Field Service activities are carried out with the calibrated measurement tools.
?Ensuring adherence to quality systems in all Field Service work related.
?Maintaining the department’s documents, communication with inner branch officials for smother operation of branch. 
?Trouble shooting & making remedies to DG Set.
?Handle the major Breakdowns on service fields in offshore.
