-Meet the training requirements according to the applicable training matrix
-Coordinate and administerOn-the-Job Training (OJT) System
-Maintain Rig crew training records
-Maintain the installation-specific training matrix and monitor it for compliance
-Conducted rig-based HSE training courses
-Participate and conduct in internal audits on the installation to ensure compliance with EMS, Aban safety management system and Client-specific requirements

Responsibilities:

-Assisted Safety Manager in day to day safety administrations and activities.
-Planed day to day activities and assisted senior management to review compliance at site. 
-Planed human resource allocations and work distribution for safety personnel.
-Managed daily Permits to Work processes which includes Controls and Mitigations Plans for all the Works Hazards.
-Conducted initial and periodic Gas Testing before and during any Hot works activities
-Conducted regular site checks to ensure compliance to Company’s regulations and stated precautions and controls in Fire/Safety Permits and LOTO
-Performed duty as a hot work assessor. Inspected and approved all hot work on the vessel.
-Conducted inspections in the company of the department head, supervisors and safety committee members to ensure the observance of health and safety standards 
-Conducted Incident investigations. Advising on corrective and preventive measure to prevent recurrence. Maintained an injury record system in accordance with standards.
-Regularly participate in meetings of health and safety committees, site coordination, client safety meetings and conferences when health and safety matters are discussed and rectified.
-Helped conduct Internal Audit (OHSAS 18001 and 14001).
-Assumed authority in the absence of Safety Manager.
