- Strategies the entire gamut of activities such as field survey planning, shallow refraction (LVL), Up-hole data acquisition and interpretations, Maintenance and repairing of seismic ground electronics/instruments with chief electronics engineer, pre stages of data acquisitions.
- Project inputs including seismic equipments, geophysical staff, surveying personnel, shot firing personnel, logistics, certification of no objections from government authorities, licensing for magazines (Energy sources), maintaining HSE policies.
- Managing the survey, drilling and seismic crew to carry out the onshore and Transition zone seismic operation. 2D & 3D seismic data acquisition in the assigned project area with the coordination, direction of organization’s management and service provider for the client’s satisfactions and requirements.
- To assist chief processing geophysicist & seismologist for designing the project, SPS checking, preparation geometry files, data quality assurance using Promax or vista on site QC system.
- Perform recording Instrument and ground electronics field daily & scheduled tests before start of production.
- Data acquisition in standard required format as per client requirements.
- Uphole and LVL data interpretations and litho-logy correlations.
- Final data submission to client and data processing center.
- Assembling of lithology, shot hole and uphole drilling samples.
- Next day field equipment and crew deployment.
- Field crew HSE assurance and HSE meetings with staff and field crew.
- Client interactions on various field or project related issues.
- Interaction with Service provider to plan & execution, to assure project inputs and HSE requirements from service provider.
- Organize in-house trainings for Tr. Geophysical staff, line crew and shot-firers according to project requirement.
- Acquired field data management, Energy source management (Dynamite and Vibrators), Daily progressive reports, and project records & documents management.
