Present: Working as Wellsite Geologist for Oil Field Instrumentation, India. Our client is MEDCO international an Indonesian company. Presently I am working in Oman. I have worked in the following fields of Oman: Simsim, Warad, Basma and Irad. As a Well Site Geologist, I have to describe the samples, interpret the lithology and most importantly decide important drilling operations like picking up formation tops, casing points, total depth (TD). I have to identify the oil shows and describe according to the client’s specifications. In addition I have the responsibility of supervision and quality control of all well site Geological operations. This includes daily reporting to our client’s office, frequent update with the client for important drilling operations/geological information and quality control of mud logging operations. I have also experience of witnessing rig wire line operations, supervising the wire line crew as per client’s requirements and make final formation tops, oil water contacts based on wire line data. I have experience in monitoring and supervising pressure tests like MDT and XPT. I am also experienced with LWD/MWD operations, its data interpretation, and quality control.
