Nathaniel, Rabi Bastia, Srinivas Tenepalli, Ravi Verma, SPG – 2007, Hyderabad ORGANIZED WORKSHOP Iorder to bring the international community to discuss the prospectivity of Kerala – Konkan Basin with new ideas, I was one of the key members who was instrumental in organizing workshop titled ‘Perspectives on Basin, Basalt & Bumps: Kerala Konkan Basin, India, January 2008. The meeting was attended by eminent geoscientists viz., Dr. Colin Reeves, Dr. Sverre Planke, Dr. Michael Nemcok, etc., etc. It was a big success and a very thought-provoking exhibition that not only brought a new workflow and new ideas in the forefront but also a paradigm shift in prospectivity analysis of a volcanic passive margin. TRAINING September 2008 : Deep Sea Depositional Systems August 2008 : Sequence Stratigraphy December 2005 : Delta Study Institute (Godavari Delta field trip) April-May 2004 : Landmark Interpretation Packages September 2001 : Landmark Interpretation Packages September 2000 : Landmark Interpretation Package COMPETENCIES / STRENGTH / ACHIEVEMENTS I believe I can add significant value to any evaluation team as a geoscientist based on the following combination of skills and capabilities A passionate explorer with expertise in opportunity evaluation in several basins and business settingsA very good understanding of all elements of geological risks / uncertainities and knowledge of diverse tools and methods to mitigate / reduce themGetting results from large and diverse team in integrated exploration and petroleum engineering teams while maintaining strong business focus and proven ability to work.Member of a team that won exploration / production contracts for 12 blocks against stiff global competition including three deep water blocks offered for the first time by Government of India. This made the company a largest private operator in India. Exposed to data for several oilfields located in different basins with differing geological set-up and spanning onshore & offshore on both east & west coasts of India.Recruitment, induction and mentoring of junior members of the team.Varied experience of analyzing the data set of multiple oilfields both in exploration & production phases, respectivelyCarried out seismic and relevant data set studies for defining the prospectivity of oil & gas fields in the Himalayan Kingdom Nepal. Carried out seismic and relevant data set studies for defining the prospectivity of oil & gas fields in Gulf of Suez EgyptSetting of question papers and evaluation for new joinees in Reliance organizationOn job training of the young members of the exploration team both in terms of approach and software application usage
