PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: Organization: ONGC, Dehradun.Training Description: Exposure in Geology, Geochemistry, Petrophysics, Reservoir and Basin analysis studies labs. I obtained Training at ONGC which offer me an exposure of geology, geochemistry, petrophysics, reservoir and basin studies used in oil and gas industry. During this project I had worked in separate divisions such as:- Geology Division � under which I had been exposed to Sedimentology division, Coal bed Methane division, Remote sensing and GIS division Paleontology & palynology division and Geochronology division.�Petrophysics division: - In this division I had been exposed to Techniques of Well logging.�Geochemical division:- In this division I had exposed to Study of stable (carbon) isotopes, Hydro-geochemical study, chemical analysis and study of crude oil, grouping of hydrocarbons, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, biomarkers study, study of source rock components ( Kerogen, bitumen, pyrolysis analysis) and petroleum microbiology.Reservoir division�Basin Analysis: - this division involves interpretation of formation, evolution, architecture and fill of sedimentary basin by examining geological variables associated with the basin. I had exposed to the basin parameters of various producing basins in India such as:-a) Cambay basin b) Assam-Arakan basin.c) Krishna-Godavari basin M.Sc. DISSERTATION:�Geo-environmental studies in Bhasmey-Rongli and Chuzachen area, East Sikkim Himalayas, India. PUBLICATION: �An Article titled �Oil Shale- A brief review�. Published in �Petro-view� a Journal by DGH (Directorate General of Hydrocarbons; under ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas) in Volume -1 sepetember2006. EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:Adjudged Best Poster on �Plate Tectonics and its relation with Tsunami and Earthquakes�, 2005 #won a number of prizes in school level athletics.#Represented school in interschool badminton competition.#Played for school in Zonal Level Cricket competition
