SAI  GLOBAL as a Country Manager  ( June 2006 to March 2007)
SAI GLOBAL is one of the largest certification bodies in the world and has a presence in India (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore etc.). I was heading Indian operations. 

Primary Objective : 
Accountable for contributing to the achievement of organizations vision by ensuring that the financial and other objectives are met through the appropriate implementation of strategy and policy and the effective management of human resources.

Responsibilities & Duties :
Responsible for implementation, both within the business unit and in conjunction with the other business units of the organization’s assurance services.
Accordingly, specific responsibilities are grouped into the following :
-    physical presence in key geographic markets
-    integrated value added customer offering
-    consistent international delivery platform
-    people capable of delivery
-    international market intelligence
-    brand & image development
-    maintenance of financial performance

TQM International (1997-2006)

Joined in February 1997 as a “Marketing Executive for promoting training courses of ISO 9000” and has been promoted as a “Manager – Business Promotion” in the year 2001. From 2001 to 2006, my strategic planning and hard work has fetched a growth of over 35% every year to the organisation. I have a good experience in marketing training courses in the field of Total Quality Management which includes products like ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 18000, TS 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, New Product Development and Six Sigma in collaboration with Motorola University, USA etc. 

I was responsible for Western Region’s operations and not only marketed projects but also organised every month open and in-house training courses for corporate’s and individuals on Awareness Training, Internal Auditor Training, Lead Auditor Training on ISO 9000, ISO 14000, QS 9000/TS 16949 (QMS & EMS are all IRCA U.K.  & IEMA U.K. Approved courses) & Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt courses in collaboration with Motorola University and also project marketing for New Product Development & Deming Prize.
 
During my tenure of service I was fortunate to interact & learn from eminent personalities like Dr. Hans Bajaria (late), Dr. Manu Vora (2nd Indian to be the Vice President of American Society for Quality), Prof. Hitoshi Kume – Chairman of Deming Application committee etc.

Interlink Marketing Consultancy (10 months (1996))
-    As a Research Executive had done a survey on Diapers & Dettol
-    Job involved visiting various hospitals, doctors & also at times house wife’s for the same
-    Data Entry and database management 
-    Assisting the Research Manager in data collection and analyzing the same

Malson Electronics (2 years (1994-95))

-    As an Executive Marketing - Organized exhibitions for various Gift Articles which were newly introduced in India
-    Participated in 2 exhibitions in Mumbai at World Trade Centre & Nehru Science Centre 
-    Looking after daily production of Telecommunication products like insertion tools, connectors, Junction boxes etc.
-    Developing the retailers and wholesalers network to sell the products
-    Procurement of Raw material & routine admin work.

Garment Work Shop (1992-94 years)

-    This workshop was my own business which I was running while I was in college
-    Manufacturing  trousers with 15 work men and 2 helpers
-    Supplying the same in Mumbai local market
