TRAINING UNDERGONE Attended a contact training programme on “Geochemistry” sponsored by DST, conducted by School of Environmental Sciences, JNU, New Delhi for the period of two weeks, October 2005 (Theory and Lab). Attended a contact training programme on “Petroleum Systems: Geological and geophysical Approach” sponsored by DST, conducted by Dept of Applied Geology, ISM, Dhanbad for the duration of two weeks, Feb 2007 (Theory and Lab). Attended a contact training programme on “Shear zone” sponsored by DST, conducted by Dept of Geology, Banaras Hindu University, BHU, Varanasi for the duration of two weeks, I am pursuing my PhD in the topic structural geology & tectonics at the Dept of Applied Geology, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. I am doing my research as a part time scholar under the supervision of Prof. S. Mohanty, Head, Dept of Applied Geology, ISM. I am having 2 and 1/2years of research experience in my topic structural geology and geotectonics. I am extremely glad to apply for the post of Geologist in your esteemed organisation.
