- Make and Brake Rotary connections using Rig Tongs, ironroughneck,handle tubular goods, Elevators and slips.
- Nipple up BOP
- Performs general maintenance of draw works, rotary transmission, and rotary table oils.
- Performs chipping and painting on rig floor, assists in rig movement (help with rig-up/rig-down), and rig maintenance.
- Inspections of all safety equipment. Choke manifold, snub lines, shackles are in good condition.
- Check dies in slips and tongs, fluid level in Koomey Unit, and all safety and riding belts to make sure they are in good condition.
- Assists with repairs and maintenance of large mud pumps, shale shaker, desander, desilter, and degasser units.
- Responsible for rolling drill pipe to or from catwalk, attaching or detaching the pick-up lines, and using drill pipe tongs, spinning chain, air spinners, slips, as well as handling drill pipe joints.
- Assembling the BHA and Keep ready all equipments for drifting.
- Relieve derrick man, Etc….
- Handling the safety equipment

- Assemble and disassemble valves (Gate valve, Butterfly valve, NRV, Ball valve, Adjustable Check valve, Globe valve etc)
- Assist of process, (Production, Mechanical and Electrical Instrumentation Work)
- Welder & Fabricate Helper
- Having good knowledge in making various types of knots like (Reef knot, Bow line, Heaving line, Clove Hitch, Bucket Hitch etc.)
- Good house keeping
- Chipping & painting
- Loading and unloading
- Chemical handling (BENTONITE, SODAASH,DOT ASH,CASTIC Keep SODA,LIGNITE,KCL,ASH SODA)
