- Prepare dental materials: cements, composite, impression materials, etc.
- Promptly follow all instructions from the dentist dealing with patient comfort.
- Take inventory, stock all supplies, instruments and medications and order said items.
- Other responsibilities include: performing required laboratory procedures, i.e., pour plaster modals, etc., being familiar with and using fourhanded assisting technique and maintaining dental equipment in good, clean condition at all times.
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
- Special assignments: scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. Clean and prepare teeth for placement of orthodontic appliances.
