JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily inspections and Maintenance of all Mechanical equipment.

• Organize and promote the preventive maintenance system.

• Followed PMS guidelines for periodic maintenance and Co-ordinate the same with supervisors and Other Departments heads.

• Maintain and repair of Power plant system and Monitor power distribution.

• Engine cooling. Fuel & Lube oil system are well maintained.

• Installation & Troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and all Drilling related equipment and tools.

• Assist in maintaining marine equipment such as cranes, Ballast pumps and valves, Auxiliary equipment etc.

• Ensure the permit to work and Energy Isolation are followed.

• Implementation of new techniques and Follow up for requirements. Faced audits, as issued by clients, Regulatory authorities and company management. 

• Prepare all Service, Maintenance and other Operational reports.

• Attending break down, Repair, Periodically check up and fabrication works of building rigs.

• Preventive maintenance works of Oil field equipments as per the Manufacture’s recommendation.

• Periodically checkup & overhauling works as per company and manufacture’s schedule.

• Attending break down and shutdown works of Mechanical and Drilling equipment at drill site.

• Dismantling of all rig equipments for transportation to next location and reassembling works (commissioning and alignment for land rigs) at new location.

• Planning in advance for requirement of spares, Materials submission of this same to concerned Rig in-charge or Rig manager.

EXPERTISE IN HANDLING EQUIPMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

DRAW WORKS: JC D, HONGHUA (CHINA),  Nov ZD, 

NOV-D- UEDB, Nov ADS T, BHEL

• Replacement of input Motors, Chains, Sprockets, Bearings and Alignment Works.

• Reconditioning & Alignment work of Mechanical and Dynamic Brake System.

• Replacement of Brake shaft & Band bend and Replacement of bushes, Shoes, Keys and etc.

• Servicing and Replacement of Low & High clutch drum assembly and Catheads assy.

MUD PUMPS:  BOMCO-F-, NOV-HHF-, MSCO F-, NOV--P-

BPC- PT,

• Daily normal inspection like crank case oil level, Oil pressure, Oil temp, Oil leaking if any, Major maintenance like check clearance of Cross head, Cross head pin, Main bearing checking of Sprockets/Chain wear and tear.

• Checking and Adjustment of cross heads clearance & Replacement of shoe, Wiper Rods, Seal and etc.

• Reconditioning of Fluid end worn out areas such as Valve seat, Valve cover nut, Wear Plate gasket, Liner adopter threads, Valve cover gasket and etc.

• Checking of Lubrication system (Crank case & chain oil) and Replacement of Servicing of lubrication pumps.

 

DIESEL ENGINES & EMERGENCY GENERATOR:  CATER PILLAR   – C, B, C

 CUMMINS – G, G 

• Routine  Maintenance on Generator Hourly Preventive Maintenance of Manufactures recommendation.

• Checking & Adjusting the Valve clearance, Injector settings.

• Changing the Primary and Secondary Fuel, Oil & Air filters periodically.

TOP DRIVE SYSTEM: (VARCO-TDS-SA, TDS-S, TDS-SA)

• Good knowledge on handling and Periodical Maintenance of Top drive.

• Servicing of Link tilt cylinders, IBOP & Lower BOP valves.

• Replacement of Accumulators, Charging of N gas, Changing of Brake calipers, Adjusting and setting of pressure on the Manifold.

CROWN BLOCK & TRAVELLING BLOCKS: YG-T HONGHUA (China) (NOV, DSI , IDECO-T, BHEL -T)

• Repairing, Servicing & Overhauling and Replacement of Seals and Bearings.

KOOMEY UNIT (BOP CONTROL UNIT)

• Checking sump oil level and oil leakages.

• Pumps repairing and servicing and replacement of seals and bearings, shaft.

• Cylinder changing and replacing nitrogen bladder.

• Cylinder with bladder charging nitrogen N gas & functional testing.

AIR COMPRESSORS: (SOLLAIR-LS S, INGERSOLRAND - MH-, 

QUNICY HH HT, ELGI-SEKVIES-CFM)

• Inspect any unusual noise Temperature, Vibration, Verify the system loading & Unloading and sharing load correctly. Function of Manually & Automatic operated all moisture drain system.

LIFE BOATS: 

• Check crank case oil level, Transmission gear oil, Cooling system of Water level.

• Run test & Inspect the engine, Gear box and Propeller shaft Periodically (Weekly & Monthly)

WATER MAKER: 

• Operation and Maintenance of Production capacity.

• Acid cleaning the water maker with Manufactures recommendation & Maintain the water salinity.

 

 

 

 

CRANE: BAKER KDM, XC MG (CHINA) – T, KATO-T

• Normal check like oil level of Engine, Hydraulic tank, Main gear box, Wipe gear box, Boom gear box, Swing gear box and its repair works.

• Drain moisture from air & Hydraulic tank and Check the all pressure gauges under normal working condition.

 

SUPER CHARGER AND WATER PUMPS: (MISSION MAGNUM, MISSION PEDESTAL,  CENTRY FUAL PUMPS.

• Overhauling and Repair works of pumps and its Alignment work.

• Replacement of Mechanical Seal, Bearing, Impeller, Shaft, Wear plate, Casing and etc.

 

MUD AGITATORS & CHEMICAL PUMPS:

• Overhauling and Repair works of Agitators and Gear boxes.

• Replacement of Bearing Seal, Gears, Impeller, Shaft, Guide bushes and etc.
