JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Involved in SCR, MCC, VFD, AC, DC motors, Mud Pump, Air Condition, Communication, Power cabling Distribution, Lighting & Refrigeration
? Perform daily inspection and Maintenance on Electrical equipments
? Comply with the Permit To Work and isolation system. Carry out Periodic Maintenance according to the Preventive Maintenance system (P M S) Guidelines and coordinate same with Supervisor and other Department heads
? Attend Pre tour and pre job safety meeting on the rig with all safety rules
? Working area clean and good housekeeping
? Restore rig power following shut down & start and bring generators (main & emergency) On line for single and parallel operation, Trouble shoot service Maintain and repair Generator, including control system and measure insulation Resistance of winding
? Monitor and Adjust Generator operating parameters
? Maintain all the Motors and Pumps in the rig like Mud pump, Shale shakers, Agitators etc.
? Repair DOL Starters and Star/Delta Starters for DC/ Motors Clean and Inspect, Repair/Replace brushes, brush gear,commutator,Widing and connection and measure Insulation resistance of Winding and Troubleshoot and clear Ground Faults
? Troubleshoot ,services maintain repair crane control system, brakes,motors,Electricial Hoist system
