• Operate, maintain and repair power generation and distribution equipment, i.e. generators and engine controls, SCRs, switchgears, transformers, etc.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• I am worked as a chief Electrician in Drill ship ABAN ICE at Mumbai high offshore. Maintain the can rig HP TDS and ABB panels .Working and supervising the electrical equipment in terms of preventive maintenance and fast fixing of breakdown equipment on the rig .Troubleshoots and calibrates, repairs and performs preventative panels, transformers, lighting panels, motor control circuits, motor control panels.
• DP Drillship…Operation, maintenance and repair of power generation and distribution equipment. Siemens generators with Wartsila WV engine controls. Switchgear, Transformers, etc.
• KV High Voltage Switchboard, Siemens operating system, Wartsila Propulsion Control and Tunnel Thrusters. Rolls Royce Azimuth Thrusters. ABB and Gexpro LV system.
• The rig was equipped with EMD engines with Ross Hill engine and generator controls and SCR drives. Top Drive TDS S. DC motors GE .
• Maintenance and repairs of Power Generation and Distribution system, (Capacity up to KV) all types of Starters, Transformer, Supply breaker, electrical motors etc.
• Worked on Ross Hill, Hill Gram, Tech power controls and PCR’s
• Worked on Top drive AC / DC drive NOV / Varco Siemens drive and Canrig top drive.
• Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of drilling equipment, i.e. Driller’s console, DC drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive System, draw works, mud pumps, etc.
• Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of marine equipment, i.e. thruster motors and auxiliaries, ballast pumps, control panels, cranes, etc.
