INDUSTRIAL SAFETY TRAINING SUPERVISOR.
As training supervisor collaborated with ECH´s (Horizon) Safety Department suggesting the themes need it to create the training program for the company, that was requested by Pemex ( the National Oil Company), and in the elaboration of the safety induction plan for new workers and the continuous training plan for personnel on board the vessels to reduce the accidents index.
During the training courses for the company´s crew, Ii was present making suggestions and comments to the workers.
Was send offshore to replace horizon´s American paramedic position that was the HSE Officer and was responsible for the safety on board the vessel and work very close with the American Superintendent on board, wrote any reports on accidents, incidents and near misses that happened to send the information to shore.
Almost every day I was offshore went on board Pemex´s fixed platforms to supervise the safety of the workers in the work area.
Supervised if PPE used correctly and made suggestions if there was any equipment not safe to use any more like, harnesses and lifting bands took them out of service.
SAFETY TRAINER.
As Safety Trainer I´ve trained personnel on Drilling Rigs, Barges And Boats where I did HS work to crews of up to men.
Was also certified by the IADC (International Association Of Drilling Contractors) as A Rig Pass Course Instructor.
The Rig Pass Course includes the basics of different topics, all related to Basic Safety In The Petroleum Drilling And Production Industry.
As Rig Pass Instructor I´ve trained in Mexico men for the CIGSA/CIGSER company.
