•   Evaluating the new prospects and its ranking in the new exploratory areas (Block C Moglad Basin) and sharing in evaluating the economic potential of the new fields.

•   Performing the well recommendation for the exploratory and appraisal wells.

•   Following up the Exploration and appraisal drilling activities.

•   Running different geological cross section, Stratigraphic correlation and maps that help in solving the geological problems using Geofram application (Geology Office) software.

Chief Geologist, Agiba Petroleum Company - Joint venture with IEOC, Cairo, Egypt, -

Duties include:

•   Evaluating the new prospects and its ranking in the new exploratory areas (G.O.S & W.D) and sharing in evaluating the economic potential of the new fields.

•   Performing the well recommendation for the exploratory and appraisal wells.

•   Following up the Exploration and appraisal drilling activities.

•   Running different geological cross section, Stratigraphic correlation and maps that help in solving the geological problems using Geofram application (Geology Office) software.

•   Preparing and updating well prognosis for the exploratory and appraisal wells during drilling.

• Project Team work for geochemical studies to determine type of kerogen, source rock, maturation and type of hydrocarbon oil and gas.

• Followed  up the operation  ( rig operation, current sheet, morning report, correlation with offsite wells, cross section, update the well track of deviated and horizontal wells In  the  Mediterranean  Sea ( Gas Fields ).
• Contact with Service Company to run the drilling activities (mud logging, wire line logging, LWD, core, and geophysical companies.
• Preparing the composite and completion log and final well reports.
• Followed up the drilling problems.
• Interpreted RFT& MDT data and created RFT& MDT plots pressure gradient to differentiate between the types of hydrocarbon.
• Quick log interpretation in rig site to evaluate the pay zones to run csg and completion.

       •     Witness in DST’s programs and perforation intervals in (exploratory wells).

• Operation geologist sharing in responsible for planning & drilling oil producing wells in the field.

• Supervise, QC and witness well logging operations and personnel to ensure high data quality is

• Pick casing and coring points in consultation with the drilling supervisor and office to ensure

• Maintain detailed stratigraphic correlation with adjacent offset wells to monitor the progress of drilling and pick casing and coring points.
• Carry out pore pressure interpretation and evaluation, well site core descriptions and provide a quick look wireline log interpretations to monitor formation over pressure, assist in overall well pressure control and provide a preliminary assessment of drilling results.
