Position: Field Production Engineer (Well Intervention supervisor).
Roles & Responsibilities: Completion and well intervention operations.
Technical Experience
- Supervise implementation of workover programs for rig & rigless operations: Completion running (Gas Lift, ESP, gas wells & Water injection wells), Sand Control Systems (Gravel Pack) Installation, Stimulation and Visual inspection, Perforation, P&A operations, Logging, Zone Isolation, Standalone screens and straddle system installation.
- Well intervention & wellsite operation supervisor (Slickline, Electric line, Coiled Tubing).
- Design and prepare workover, completion and rigless programs.
- Work over evaluation: Participate in an informal team with other engineers (Reservoir Engineers and drilling Engineers) as well as production personnel to identify, develop, recommend and implement workover prospects.
- Design and supervise surface well testing programs through testing package.
- Follow up and apply well integrity management system throughout the well life cycle.
- Monitoring well’s performance and implementing remedial actions for any problematic wells (natural gas wells, artificial lift oil wells, water injection wells) as required.
- Ensures that contractors are fully aware of safety rules, regulations, risk assessment and standards during related jobs.
- Follow up with contractors about the feasibility of operations; availability of tools and the optimum ways to perform the job.
- Make site visits and ensures proper execution in accordance with HSE standards.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to HSE matters. Recognizes expected hazards within working area. Aware of responses to emergency in work area.
- Participate in quality & HSE audits and other inspection for contractors services.
- Interpret results, come up with recommendations, perform engineering analysis, interact with field, reservoir, drilling & production engineers and schedule rig/rigless work for oil and gas wells depending on the required target and priority.
- Participate in rig acceptance and quality control processes.
- Participate in technical evaluation of tenders and check contractor&#;s invoices.
- Supervise all slickline work (Tag runs, Monolock & PX plugs setting, C/O GLV&#;s, MIT, PT surveys and Fishing) and familiar with most slickline equipment.
- Supervise all Coiled Tubing jobs (Stimulation, Lifting, milling, perforation & etc.).
- Supervise and interpret all Electric Line jobs (Casedhole Logging: PLT, RST, USIT-CBL-VDL, Openhole Logging: MDT, XPT, and all Perforations jobs).
- Supervise through tubing straddle systems installation in case of tubing pin hole problems using digital slickline.
- Design and supervise sand control systems in gas wells (casedhole/openhole gravel pack and standalone through tubing screens (stainless & ceramic)).
- Supervise scale removal (chemical or mechanical) and inhibition jobs.
- Offshore/onshore experience in production surface facilities for crude oil & gas.
- Work experience on Pipesim, Prosper & GAP software.
- Doing routine work which involves (daily report, daily well&#;s performance report, monthly operations report, wells performance update & monitoring).
- Prepares monthly and - days plans for implementation in the field.
