JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Implement Company’s health and Safety Policy and Procedure.
- Identify and prevent unsafe practices and conditions and find their remedial action.
- Be part of daily, weekly and monthly HSE meeting.
- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
- To ensure weekly and monthly safety inspections are carried out and be part of it.
- Conduct fire drills and Emergency Evacuation of procedure against foreseen emergencies
- Ensure accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
- Co-operate HSE department before and during the audit.
- Establish the agenda, formulate & distribute minutes for the Health & Safety Committee meetings and ensure that all agreed action plan are completed within deadlines.
- Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time related to the Safety in the Hotel.
