RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Perform and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance activities of the plant mechanical equipments in the assigned areas
• Troubleshoot, identify and isolate faulty components of plant mechanical equipment at the assigned location.
• Identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.
• Perform shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on the Mechanical equipment.
• Participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery, and notify any malfunctions or defects to the immediate supervisor.
• Be a member of the Engineering Emergency & Fire Backup hour roster team, for safety support duties.
• Attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities such as safety requirements permits to work, special tools and materials.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

 

Centrifugal / Reciprocating Pumps:

 

Overhauling of all types Heavy Rotating Centrifugal /Reciprocation Pumps (SULZAR, GOUDS,) (Single / Multi Stage) Taking or Regular Maintenance of Pumps, (Weekly, Monthly, Annual). Trouble Shooting, Alignment, Dismantle, and Assemble of Pumps. Impeller clearance settings, Changing of Mechanical Seal, Bearings, Gland packing, Fin Fan coolers etc....

 

Heat Exchangers

 

1. Maintenance jobs carried out in Heat exchangers of Fixed, Floating and U tube type, which include activities right from blinding, bundle pulling, cleaning, testing, repair works as per the instructions.
2. Having experience in plate type, shell and tube (single and multi-tubes) exchanger. Involved in maintenance and repair of tubes, nozzle baffle plates, etc.
3. Hydro testing, Pneumatic testing such as shell testing, tube testing and final testing.

 

Valve

 

1. Service and operation inspection of all types of valve like Ball valve, Control Valve, Globe valve, Gate valve, Butterfly valve, Diaphragm form valve, non-return valve, Non-Return Valve Automatic Pneumatic Actuators control valve in utility department. Valve body leak testing, Valve seat leak testing, Safety valve pressure setting.

 

 

Tower and Vessels

 

1. Maintenance jobs carried out in towers which includes activities like removal of trays, demisters, Packing (Pall rings, Racing rings etc.), through, trays cleaning.
2. Maintenance jobs carried out in Tanks (Fixed & Floating roof) which include activities like, stream coils, servicing of rim vents, auto bleeder vents, Replacement of primary/Secondary seals, Weather shield plates, Shoe plates etc.
3. Maintenance jobs carried out in absorber & vessels, which include activities like cleaning, catalyst renewal, Demister removal etc.

 

Separator

 

1. Having experience in phases and phase (horizontal, vertical, Sphere) separator maintenance to change mist pad, vertex breaker, coalescing plates, deflected etc. Involved in startup shutdown and commissioning procedure all type of separators.
2. Done hydro test and pneumatic test as per the procedure and pressure.

 

Pumps

 

1. Dismantling and reassembling of all centrifugal and reciprocating pumps i.e. single and multi-stage, vertical and horizontal type. Piston pumps, chemical dosing pumps, Methanol Injection pump, etc.
2. Involved in repair such as plunger changing, activities such as mechanical seal assembling and aligning the pump with Rim and Face method, Dial Indicator.
3. Overhauling the Pumps and Pump Bearings, Pump flanges and shaft alignment, Shaft sleeves and flange settings and moving parts alignment.
4. Change the Pump Casings, Impellers, Check the water and oil leakage of the Bearing shaft seals,

Check, replace the shaft, and Pump packing
