Job Responsibilities

 

1. All types of starters control wiring, trouble shootings like as a DOL, Star & Delta, soft starters and VFDs.
2. PCC, MCC, PDB, LDB, ACDB, DCDB, LAVT, NGR, AVR, APFC and UPS, Battery charger,
3. Excitation panels O & M and trouble shootings.
4. HT & LT switch gears operating and maintenance works attend like as OCB, ACB, VCB and SF.
5. Handle up to MV substations /. KV, × MVA transformers, its associated switchgears and protective Relays panels and control panels. Distribution transformers .KV/V located at different load with RMU and switchgears operating and maintenance.
6. Up to LT KW (AC/DC) motors and drive control panels operation and preventive maintenance works.
7. Up to HTKW AC induction Motors and control panels operation and preventive maintenance works.
8. Up to KW Slip Ring Induction Motors and Starters operation preventive maintenance works.
9. Up to KVA DG sets operation, periodic maintenance and synchronization works.
10. BHEL volts × MW Power Generator operation preventive maintenance and synchronization works. (Steam Turbine)
11. TDPS KV & MW Turbo Alternator Co-Generation Power plant commissioning and testing and synchronizing with KV GRID and its accessories routine running maintenance works.
12. Up to KW WTG wiring &instruments installation and panel testing works cable preparation as per Drawings.
13. Ammonia based chiller and HVAC centralized Ref. plant having SABROE make screw compressors with HT and LT induction Motors its accessories controlled by SIEMENS step
14. V PLC with SCADA operating systems trouble shooting works.
15. Preventive and corrective maintenance over all plant utility equipment’s like as a Power, Boiler, Air compressor RO plant REF plant and HVAC system.
16. Daily monitoring check list and observations plant running status.
17. Performing projects which leads to continual improvements and reduce break downs
18. perform initiatives which can reduce accident with regards safety &on unplanned stoppages in a safe efficient manner. 
19. Installation, repairing and testing of HV, LV electrical equipment&#;s. This includes motors, breakers, battery, cable laying, jointing, Glanding and termination.
20. Erection and Maintenance of Batteries and Battery Charger.
21. Maintenance of AC and DC Motors up to HP.
22. Installation and Troubleshooting of UPS up to kVA.
23. Testing of windings and cables using Megger.
24. Receives work assignments briefing and guidance from assigned Company staff.
25. Performs routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance on all above equipment. Prepares and records all details of equipment maintenance; such as work carried out time involved etc.
26. Repairs and fabricates, as necessary any mechanical parts. Carried out cutting and above-mentioned jobs.
27. Complies with safety conditions and practice on all equipment on which he is working and observes the work permit regulations.
28. Knowledge in motor overhauling, like dismantling bearing removal & testing, replacing, inspection windings and assembling.
29. Follow test procedure for relay testing like over load relay earth fault relay, under voltage relay, and prepare test reports.
30. Perform battery charging (lead acid & alkaline batteries) like electrolyte preparation filling up and putting charging etc.
31. Laying of HT and LT cable (up to mm) for industrial wiring system.
32. Earthling of electrical installation and distribution systems
33. Operation and maintenance of emergency generator.
34. Troubleshooting and maintenance of over hoist cranes  
35. Knowledge in reading of electrical drawings
36. Operation and maintenance of Firewater pump.
