ü Fertilizers And Chemicals Travancore (FACT), Ernakulam – Graduate Apprentice – From th June to November .
FACT Ammonia plant is Naptha based Haldar Topsoe designed plant of MT/day capacity adapted with HONETWELL DCS – TDS .
ü Fargo Fertilizer Limited, Chennai – Production Engineer – Granulated Press Mud Compost –
From June to March . ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Monitoring plant performance against approved targets on a day-to-day basis, Optimization of production by conserving energy and confirming product quality and controlling of process variables to achieve the desired product spec through Advanced Process Control System (APC) of Aspen Tech, USA.
· Independently controlling production of LAB by plant operation through DCS CENTUM CS of
Yokogawa, Japan.
· Responsible for targeted production, Product quality, Raw material planning, Specific energy consumption.
· Plays an active role in ISO team by preparing Work Instruction Manual (WIM), vessel entry documents and training needs documents.
· Handled Startup, Emergencies and Shut down Activities.
· Procuring, storing and despatching feedstock, products and by-products in TANKFARM area using SAAB Tank Master for level management and maintaining stock records for the tanks in Management Information system.
· Monitoring and controlling Specific consumptions of feedstock’s and utilities
· Effectively manage manpower by interdepartmental coordination to accomplish process and maintenance requirements.
· Working in SAP for production, stock management and maintenance. Preparing daily production and stock reports (as hard copy and as well as soft copy in Management Information System).
· Preparing Production reports, raising work orders, issuing work permits, notifications and releasing equipment for maintenance (including Electrical Clearance Module) following HSE policies and Procedures.
· Reviewing the performance of equipment’s, reactor and catalyst performance.
