Job title : Chief mechanic on (ADC) Rig
Dutes:
•Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance of all drilling equipment
• carry out all measurement of bearing and gears and main shaft of (mud pump and draw work and top drive )
•carry out monthly and half annually and yearly maintenance of drilling tools and equipment (Top drive, mud pump, draw works, BOP, rotary table, Wichita brake, travelling block, crown block, etc.).
• Carry out repairs and did overhaul and alignment of engine and generators of Caterpillar engines b.
• make yearly maintenance and talk all measurements of bearing of mud pumps.
• Prepare material orders for parts and supplies to be approved by rig manger.
• Ensure that repairs are reported back in writing as well as reported back to PMS section and that records are filed properly.

Dutes:
•Monitor engine operation through night shift, periodic visual checks and referring operating logs.
•Perform maintenance of all mechanical equipment and systems as directed and assisted as requested in repair jobs throughout the rig, together with senior mechanics.
•Record running time and stage pressure of air compressors.
•Operate and ensure proper starting procedures for the air compressors.
•Follow E.D.C. international safety procedures during drilling and maintenance processes inside and outside its land and onshore rigs.
