Technical: Expertise in formation sample analysis (Microscopic & Fluoroscopic) their description, evolution and correlation. Hydrocarbon test including Natural fluorescence, Solvent cut fluorescence. Gas detection, analysis, and evaluation using Gas Chromatograph. On basis of analysis and interpretation recommends Casing, Coring, Perforation Recovery and handling of Conventional core and Sidewall core along with Lithological description. Interpret and integrate Engineering & Geological data. Interpretation of Wire Line, LWD, and Mud logs. Perform real time correlation with off set wells. Comparing pre-drill and post-drill prognosis and report findings. Marking of Formation Tops, correlation of formation (Statigraphic correlation) etc. on basis of cutting samples and gas, Wire-line log and LWD logs. Monitoring of Drilling, Mud parameters and Real Time Operation. Shale-density & Shale-factor determination and Calcimetry. Good understanding of down-hole condition from drill string and cutting behavior. Ability to deals with open-hole and cased hole drilling problem. Preparation of reports like Daily report, Monthly report, Master log (Composite Log), Cutting description sheet, Rig diary, Well profile. Formation Pressure Prediction Plots and Well completion report. Real time understanding & description of lithology encountered while drilling. Super vision of mud logging service, Quality control of mud logging data acquisition. Coordination with company-man, updated with down-hole lithology & various drilling parameter time to time. Participate in HSE, Operating & Technical committee meeting with office and client. Mentor & training of national staff. Good Communication skill. Software Familiar with the following : Programming Language : C, Visual Basic(VB) Operating System : Windows XP, Professional 2000, NT 4.0, Unix & Mac. Petroleum Software : Well Works, Drillwork Pressure Predict, GEWS, Log Man, OLS & RTS, Proficiency in the use of geoscience software Software.
