<span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Independent final year project</strong></span><br>Title: geological study of Sur area, Qassah and Al-Jibai.<br>The project involved mapping and sedimentary logging of Tertiary Strata, completed during January 2002. From field studying of the area I extracted detailed information and data about fossils, sedimentary structure and geological structures. I used advanced laboratories machines like X.RD and X.RF to make chemical analysis.&nbsp; I used rock cutting machines to make thin sections to study fossils and to make petrography&nbsp; description. I was able to determine that during the late Paleocene that area was covered by deep marine waters, then there was a major regression in see level during early to late Eocene. During this project I gained experience of sedimentary logging, construction of geological map and paleoenvironment interpretation of fossils. I was also able to discuss and build many models to solve the problems and&nbsp; give clues of what controlled forming of the depositional basins. I also linked the coexistences historical regional geological events with my conclusion to give more evidences and supports to my arguments.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

COREL DREW: which I used to produce my geological map which was part of my final year project. SKILLS: Organizational, negotiating team work I joined rovers ( scout ) group while I was in the university so it was natural to work to the extreme extent within teamwork during all camps of rovers ( scouts ) that I participated in.As an active member in Geo-Group, I played a major role within a great team of my colleagues. We managed to organize a wonderful the annual most important event science weak in the year 2001. We also managed to organize a memorisible trip to the Himalayan Mountains.
