Job Description

We are currently hiring Production Workers for our Power Grids division at our facility in Bland, Virginia. This is a long-term opportunity offering a 12-hour night shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Monday–Wednesday, with alternating Thursdays). The role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of dry-type transformers. Responsibilities include operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will work with engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble products, operate winding machines, and assist in material handling using cranes and forklifts.

Additional duties include updating job status using computer systems, maintaining records and documentation, monitoring product quality, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with different departments, support team activities, and may assist in training other employees. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Bland, VA
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn multiple skills and cross-train

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to read and follow instructions and engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience with assembly or machinery preferred
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Basic computer knowledge for job tracking and reporting
