Job Description

1.8.2.1 Have an HVAC/mechanical/electrical technician vocational degree and certificates
from a reputable university / institution
1.8.2.2 Able to read and understand schematic electrical and mechanical drawings, plans,
and O&M Manuals
1.8.2.3 Have minimum of 5 years work experience in maintenance related to various
building HVAC system and components (e.g. PACU, AHU, window and split type A/C, and
others.)
1.8.2.4 Have maintenance experience on various equipment and vehicle air conditioning
system.
1.8.2.5 Have extensive knowledge in troubleshooting / repairs of faulty HVAC fixtures,
components and system failures.

1.8.2.6 Have basic knowledge in troubleshooting / repairs of faulty plumbing and sanitary
fixtures.
1.8.2.7 Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and
reporting.
1.8.2.8 Can work independently and with limited supervision.
1.8.2.9 Able to communicate (speak and write) in English

1.8.2.10 Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance on all the building
HVAC related systems, fixtures and components and on specific port equipment (e.g. quay
crane, RTGCs, etc.) that has similar HVAC system to that of the buildings.
1.8.2.11 In some cases, and instances, the technicians will be assigned to support some
services and corrective maintenance works for the building mechanical and plumbing
system e.g. elevator, dock leveller, arm barriers, etc. This will be in strict supervision of the
Employer’s Electrical/Mechanical Engineer.
1.8.2.12 Perform any other tasks that will be assigned by the Employer’s Engineering
Supervisor.
