Job Description

1.8.1.1 Have an electrical technician vocational degree and certificates from a reputable
university / institution
1.8.1.2 Able to read and understand schematic electrical drawings, plans, and O&M
Manuals
1.8.1.3 Have minimum of 5 years work experience in maintenance related to building
electrical system, standby generators and components.
1.8.1.4 Have extensive knowledge in troubleshooting / repairs of faulty electrical fixtures
and system failures including lighting poles, circuit breaker, elevator, etc.
1.8.1.5 Have knowledge of performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacing parts
in accordance with PM and CM procedures.

1.8.1.6 Have basic knowledge on BMS components troubleshooting.
1.8.1.7 Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and
reporting.
1.8.1.8 Can work independently and with limited supervision.
1.8.1.9 Have basic knowledge in repairs / troubleshooting fire detection and alarm system
1.8.1.10 Able to communicate (speak and write) in English
1.8.1.11 Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance on all the low voltage
electrical systems (3 phase 480V power) and electrical fixtures installed inside the Port.
This is inclusive also of the maintenance on the light poles and reefer racks.

1.8.1.12 In exceptional cases, will be assigned to support some services and corrective
maintenance works for the Medium/High Voltage. This will be in strict supervision of the
Employer’s Electrical Engineer.
1.8.1.13 Will be assigned to support any troubleshooting or corrective repairs on the fire
detection and alarm system and fire suppression system.
1.8.1.14 Perform any other tasks that will be assigned by the Employer’s Engineering
