Job Description

Client Campaign in NOV 2015 for Designation: Environment Section Head

Supervises, coordinates and monitors the Ruwais Refinery environment and loss control programmes and provides specialist advice and assistance on environment and waste management aspects to plant departments.

Certification Requirement

? B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering / Environment Engineering or equivalent, with adequate training in environment protection and monitoring. ? Certified ISO 14000 Lead Auditor Course and membership in professional environmental organizations preferred. ? Minimum 10 years’ experience in an environmental management and compliance role within petroleum refineries or petrochemical processing plant, of which four years has been at a senior supervisory level. ? Has environmental impact expertise and the ability to assess and plan the mitigation of negative factors. ? Working knowledge and understanding of the UAE HSE legislation. ? Audit/assessment skills using auditing management systems. ? Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ? Able to lead and consolidate a proactive HSE culture within organisations. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written. ? Proven ability to educate and motivate. ? Data analysis and report writing skills. ? Excellent oral and written English.
