Client Campaign in NOV 2015 for Designation: NDT Engineer
BASIC FUNCTION
Plans, supervises and personally conducts inspection and testing of equipment tanks and piping using various non-destructive examination techniques like Ultrasonic flaw detection/thickness measurements, Magnetic particle testing, X-ray/radiography, Dye penetrant tests, Eddy current testing, Magnetic flux leakage testing, acoustic emission, thermography etc. Evaluates and interprets the test results and makes necessary recommendations to the supervisor. Carries out visual inspection and quality control jobs on plant facilities.
Certification Requirement
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
a. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Level III qualification in ND examinations or equivalent preferred.
b. 5 years experience in Inspection and NDT testing of which at least 4 years should be in Petroleum Process plant.
c. Good written and spoken English.
