Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• To run completion equipment as instructed by Completions Operations Supervisor in accordance with client/MB procedures. Each Supervisor will be in charge of a self-supervising while on job.
• To cascade HSE and technical information to the more junior members of the Completion operation.
• To be self-motivated and gain knowledge in new equipment and methods of work, in particular to load/use/read completion software, procedures and completion recorders.
• To ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe, orderly manner with consideration to himself, and those likely to be affected by his actions.
• To participate in work related training while on location.
• To be available to attend company formal skill training on location or in a capital area.
• To generate permits to work, to abide by and understand conditions “fit for use”.
• To carry out and maintain inventory reports/HSE audits and inspections.
• To ensure an understanding of the operations being carried out is achieved by self and others associated with the operation prior to work commencing.
• Compile true and accurate reports of operations performed and update well files.
• Inspect, prepare work-site and equipment for forthcoming completion and associated operations.
• Assist with coastal operations as required.
• Initiation of, participation in, emergency drills, inclusive of Abandon location drills.
• Presentation of, participation in, toolbox talks and HSE meetings.
• Compliance with the operational/HSE requirements of secondary contractors when engaged on locations where custodianship is temporarily in the hands of the secondary contractor.

Certification Requirement

A Field Completion Supervisor must have worked in completion operations for a minimum of 10 years. Such experience is necessary to enable him to gain the relevant knowledge required to formulate and implement a completion program & run the down hole completion equipment suitable to the needs of the client.
