• The Role and Responsibilities would change based on work demand and skills of the person.
• The selected candidate has to work on 6 Months probationary period.
• On confirmation after the probationary period, performance of the candidate will be reviewed once in a year to terminate the services of non-performers.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• Software Skills: MS Office, MS Project, MS Access & Primavera
• 12 years of total experience in heavy industries in which 8 years of experience in oil & gas or refineries.
• Good spoken English. .

Certification Requirement

We have a urgent requirement of Planning Engineer with one of the leading Operating Company based in UAE . Scope of Duties • Prepare level 3 work plans incorporating the work packs and provide guidance for contractor planning team. • Closely review contractor level 5 work plan and monitor progress. • Maintain productivity and efficiency figures (SPI) for various activities of the project • Continuously monitor and report on project status by producing charts, reports etc. • Keep track of all on-going works from a planning perspective and produce look ahead plans as required. • Evaluate the effect of external factors on project execution and schedule timeline and propose contingency plans. • Assists the Project Control Engineer in preparation of all required commercial and contractual documentation for engaging consultants and contractors and in preparation of responses to all contractual and commercial matters during tendering, execution and close-out. • Carry out project planning and scheduling activities using Primavera Project Planner and/or Microsoft Project. Prepares estimates for activity duration and resource requirements for project. • Prepares progress measurement system procedures and carry-out project progress update and supports Project Control Engineer in Project schedule control • Develop, Maintain and update Project schedules (Level-4 schedules) with resource loading and costing. • Records Project meetings and circulate minutes. Follows up on action plans until closure. • Prepares and submit daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on Project Progress and Project concerns. • Develop, maintain and update Monthly and 90-days look ahead reports and provide a clear and detail picture for the next 3,6,12 months. • Prepare manpower histogram and highlight resource constraints that affect project progress. • Evaluates and mitigates project risk and prepares Project Risk analysis reports using Primavera Monte Carlo tool. • Carries out other similar or related tasks, such as carrying out special studies/assignments and ensuring close out procedures have been followed.
